    I'm fairly new to craft beer as well, popular beers in this thread available in MD:

    Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout - November
    Sierra Nevada Barrel-Aged Narwhal (regular Narwhal too ?) - Oct/Nov
    Troegs Nugget Nectar
    Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale

    BCBS would be my top recommendation, I'm hoping to try a variant this year. Also very excited about barrel aged Narwhal. Last, I'm not sure of the season but I am really looking forward to Barrel-Aged Gonzo Imperial Porter from Flying Dog as well.

    Celebration and Jubelale. I am also looking forward to drinkning all of the pumpkin stouts I have been holding until TX weather actually starts to feel like fall. At this rate, I may be enjoying Jubelale in February....

    I'm really hoping to get BCBS when I visit my parents in WI in December. I'm looking forward to trying the others you mentioned as well, especially Narwhal and Gonzo.

    Not sure I can get behind calling a beer that is released in March (KBS) a winter release. But, that being said, I still have two from last year that I will be drinking over the holidays, so I can get behind that!

    From what i've seen Summer and spring seasonals seem to be heavily dominated by wheat beers and session IPA's. Unless it's my imagination, there's an amazing amount of diversity among styles released during these colder months. which is your favorite and why? always curious what my fellow BA's think. cheers everyone.
