I'm aware. Doesn't stop me from wishing we had access to it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ugh. Sour stouts. I've had my fair share of those. Like...most of the Dark Lord I've had. Sour stouts, intentional or otherwise, have never appealed to me.

The sour Piiti Porter at the FB Lounge anniversary party was bunk, and I'm a huge Piiti and sour fan.

Any local feel like doing me a favor and picking me up some bottles? I can't get away from Miami and their Guava is my favorite beer.

Wayne said this was just a pilot batch and that it would be made again. I'm hoping they do a whole grove series with all sorts of fruits.

What the hell is going on with the trade value of this beer? Why are people holding it for ransom?

Might seem like an 'ole timer here but the days of "my locals for your locals" are gone. Ken Griffey JR rookie cards only gentlemen.

It could just be that it's excellent... It's light years better than the guava grove and only had a 3 bottle limit.

No way. IMO The first batch of the Groove was by far the best of the bunch. This is a wonderful beer...but I think a little shelf time will help the Apricot come out. It has been said above that this could get made again and a little more Apricot would do it justice. I loved the enamel pealing sour/tartness of the Apricot but just wanted a little more of the fruit up front instead of letting it warm up to get it.
But hey, opinions are like assholes and I have definitely been called an asshole before.

Trade value isn't that crazy IMO. It's trading for other similarly rare and good sours. Only 1200 bottles after all.
