    Anybody ever ordered "The Original" Beer of the Month Club? They are cheaper than a lot of clubs so I was wondering if they are worth it. Do you get any rare brews? Brews you can't find on the east coast?

    I was afraid I would look at that website and see nothing but the standard brews available at the better grocery stores. Truth be told there are beers there on my want list. That said, I would be worried to spend the money and get just light lagers and ambers. STILL....some good stuff in the recently featured section. Need to delve in to this more extensively.

    I like the rare beer club. Sure, some are shelf beers, but you can skip a shipment each month at no cost. I've gotten some nice stuff not available in my state from there.

    $40 for a 12 pack, where much of it seems very ordinary?

    Seems like just building your own mix a six would be as good and cheaper.
