Appears I was an idiot not to get a bottle of Pipeworks Square Grouper when I was there a couple weeks ago. It had just come into the Binnys I was at, but I already had so much I passed. But I did get a BA Over the Line, so I guess I take that in consolation.

This is around town, I've seen it at a few places in the past week (only one I can remember right now is Columbia Heights D'vines). Also currently on tap at Bier Baron.

Last fall. Toronado San Diego. Cable Car. Still kick myself in the rear for shying away because of the pricetag.

Just saw Utopias for $300 last night if you want a bottle (or whatever you'd call the container)

Was in Hunger Mtn. Cooperative in VT and beer guy made a comment about Foley Bros. Fair Maiden being on par with the Big 3. Thinking this was just bluster and putting down what's in demand I only bought one bottle. When I got back home in Western NY and cracked it...I realized I should have STOCKED UP! Very nice IIPA. I'll be back for that one!

No thanks. $300 is waaaaaay too much to pay for a bottle of beer, no matter how good it is. I'd much rather buy 30 6-packs of PsycHOPathy (brewed just down the road). But damn! For a lousy $10 I really really REALLY should have tried 'em.

Hopefully not because you didn't like the EPA!

I think I remember seeing Surly Wet on shelves before I really geeked out and knew what it was. I know that's nothing compared to some of these other posts, but I'd sure like to try that one.

Anything New Glarus. I grew up in Wisconsin and lived there until I was 32 but never really drank much New Glarus (drank Miller High Life most the time because it was cheap and because I wasnt into craft beer at the time) and now that I live in Ohio and its not so easy to just go and buy the stuff, I regret not drinking it more when I lived there.

Murda'd Out Stout by FFF, was at the brewpub still new to craft beer at the time and seen the 50$ price tag on it. :slight_frown: now its retired, 50$ is still really high IMO but if i could go back I would get it!

Standard - I'm assuming the special ones are brewery only?

Summit EPA was my gateway beer, so I only think fondly on the hundreds I've downed in my life. Your first is always your first––I'd never shake my head at that.

I regret this too, because they had cases of XVII where I bought it. I have left beer on shelf I wanted more of to allow the next guy to have. Sometimes I regret it, especially since I'm slowly starting a cellar.

Agreed, But I can see the interest because everyone says (including me) it's soooo bad..

In my more ticker days (way back in "ought-13"), I had just had Oracle, and being from DC, we get Bell's along with a lot if other stuff. At Charleston Beer Exchange, guy had a customer who he grabbed a/some Oracle from the back and, seeing what we were purchasing, asked if we wanted some. Declined!! Luckily I had some this year, so sting isn't as bad.

Saw some Arcadia B-Craft Black IPA at the store for $2.98 a 4 pack. Since I had never had it before I only grabbed one. It turned out to be alright. At that price I wish I had grabbed a couple cases.
