HeII NO! There's no telling how long it has been on the shelf. Go to the brewery, take a siphon hose and plug it right onto the tank. :grinning:

I'm not sure if our beer is truly "under the radar" anymore, but having under-the-radar local beers is the best thing you can possibly ask for. Every time I see cases of Zoe and Heavy Machinery I feel happy.

Man, all this talk about freshness. You guys would have a meltdown if you had to wait 6 months for your IPAs to make its way from England to India. Imagine the conversations they had.
"Oh dear, this beer is old"
"Yes, they really need use faster ships so we can have fresh 4 month old Pale Ale".

Pfffft. Must be weird to have a beer that's as fresh as yall are.

    Ah the Monty Hall problem!

Say you have three bottles of Yellow Rose on the shelf. If you pick one, I'll open one of the ones you didn't pick and guarantee that it's not fresh (as I somehow know in advance). Then I'll give you the opportunity to switch the one you picked with the other one on the shelf. SHOULD YOU SWITCH?

Actually it's more complex than this, and the answer is, weirdly enough, you should switch.

It's not really weird. If you stay you're still at a 30% chance, whereas the other option is essentially a new choice and gives you a 50% chance. Isn't math fun

That's what I get for going based off memory. Apparently alcohol effects it:slight_frown:

Lol close enough though. At least you would choose "correctly".

I hate that the answer is you should switch cause it messes with my head so much but it is right... Way someone put it that helped as if there were 1000 doors and you chose one and then the host opens 998 doors with out the car should you switch to the remaining door or stick with your original door. Bit more logical that way.

Drinking a bottle now. Obtained form D&Q on Thursday. Spoke to Brandon who said the bottles he had were from the later bottling.

No issues here. Maybe not quite as good as on tap but it is damn close so may just be bias taking over. Still awesome Yellow Rose I'm used to. Sending some out this week.

I extra'd one out and shipped Monday, and the BA drank it this weekend. He loved it! I guess he got lucky with his bottle ;-)

If anyone is looking for a growler fill in Dallas, Lakewood Growler just tapped a keg of Yellow Rose.

Found bottles today at the Krogers on Eldridge and Briar Forest for $8.39. Apparently wide distribution for these bottles.
