First beer that got you into trading...

    When I lived in Florida, I was approached by a BA who wanted some CCB and had this beer called Zombie Dust to trade. I had heard of FFF but had no idea what Zombie Dust was. To this day, it's still one of my favorite beers and I've been addicted to trading ever since.

    Mine was Midnight Sun 3000. It was released not long after I relocated to AK from Portland. I was missing the unending availability of beers, so needed to get something other than the limited selection of Fairbanks at the time. I bought up all the 3000 I could get my hands on and started this awful habit.

    About a year ago @blue-dream sent me 3 cans of heady just because he wanted me to try it.
    I had just joined BA and never even sent a beer message or attempted to trade.
    Since then we've been great friends and the rest is history.
    I have him to thank for this disease they call beer trading fever.

    And now a days, it is i who look to you to get me my beers, it seems i have created a monster!! Gone from newbie craft beer trader to expert whale slayer. And now when every you come back up here i get your world famous key lime pie!

    Locals for Locals with a guy in STL. was a good trading partner for 3 or 4 months until he stole my good beer and never returned a box...

    My first trade was local for local - wanted to try some CCB. Ended up trading with the dude a whole bunch of times. Haven't heard from him in a couple years.

    As a noob I traded for zombie dust and jai alai...got a hold of seasonal brewery only drakes black label and shipped them off with no hesitation.. :slight_smile:
