Just looking for some insight on LA Cable Car beers. Why are they so rare? Are they super limited or something? Are the just that good? What is the deal??

They are made for the Toronado beer bars in SF and SD, and sold for on premise drinking only.

Would love to find out, but not for $125. LA quality is hit and miss.

I think they asked $125ish for the 10' and $160ish for the 09'. No beer is worth that to me.

I didn't pay for it because it was my 30th, but I think it was $35 at SF Toronado.

what they have, whether or not they will sell it to you, and the cost are all variable. some people seem to be able to go in and buy a bottle while others go in and they get denied. i'll be trying it for myself in about a month.

I must have just missed it (or they hated me) when I was there on the 24th, but their/CityBeer's tap list made up for it.

Because you must be a super awesome aficianado if you can brag that you have tried it. Said person obviously knows a lot more about beer than the rest of us. Tomme Arthur says so. :open_mouth:p
