The Progressive LIF

So a while back I won a LIF by ruizjoseph, won a box in the March Madness 2012 bracket competition and won another LIF hosted by cmmcdonn…I think I’m due to dish out some payback. This is going to be a multi-phase/progressive LIF with multiple winners. Hang with me and I assure you it will pay off.
The rules:
Lower 48 states only, sorry AK and HI.
There will be three qualifying rounds. I will post one question in each round and everyone can guess once unless otherwise noted. The first person to correctly guess the answer will be the winner of that round. That person is automatically eligible for the fourth (FINAL) round.

The first five people to ship beers I designate (for example 2 wants or min. 36 oz. of wants, etc.) to the winner of each round will also be eligible for the fourth and final round. So the final round will consist of 18 participants – 3 winners of the qualifying rounds who correctly answered a question and the first 5 people from each round that shipped to them. Once those people are determined I will post the FINAL round question(s) for those 18 participants only. One of those 18 will win the big ass box I send out.
If you are one of the 3 preliminary round winners, you agree to have your shipping info sent to the participants of this LIF in a private conversation. If that’s not cool with you, don’t guess the answer to the questions. Once the conversation is sent, the clock is ticking to ship.
If you ship to one of the round winners, you must send me the tracking number. I will base the 5 winners of each round on the delivery date/time on the tracking information provided by the shipping company, and verification of the box contents by the recipient. It’s up to you if you ship ground, next day, etc. to get it there faster.

Just so we’re clear, if you send a box to one of the winners and it is the sixth (or higher) box to arrive, you’re not one of the winners for that round but you’re welcome to guess subsequent questions and/or send a subsequent box. I’m sure the recipient will thank you for your donation. J
If things are moving slowly in any particular round and 5 people don’t ship to the round winner, I’ll end that round early and the odds just got better for the others who are eligible.

Question #1

I ran to the store in my wife’s vehicle to pick up some beer last weekend. I sat the beer in the passenger seat and apparently that was enough weight for the seat belt warning tone to go off once I started driving. I thought the number of times it beeped was excessive – so much that when I stopped at a red light I picked up the beer and sat it back down so I could count the beeps.

How many times does the seat belt warning tone in my wife’s vehicle beep before it stops?
