We had a freak thunderstorm move in this afternoon, drats, I wanted to pull weeds and dig up roots![IMG]

This is an alright consolation, I guess. We just got Ninkasi in AZ and I look forward to buying lots of Oatis this winter. It's such a great, low abv oatmeal stout, and this one ain't half bad, either. Cheers!

We went to Portland's Old Port today and had lunch at In'finiti Fermentation & Distillation. I started with a couple of 4 oz tasters at the bar. Rumschpringefest!!! - a 4.8% marzen and Harvest Rye - a 7.1% wet hopped amber ale.

Then we grabbed a table and I got two more tasters. Hellesbock - a 6.9% helles lager and Disbelief - an 8% Belgian strong dark ale with local maple syrup.

I had the Rauchbier (5.2%) with my Rodeo Burger.

Finished with the Mocha Stout - a 5% coffee milk stout on nitro.

Then we went next door to The King's Head where I got a Beer Geek Breakfast.

We went in Country Noel Christmas Etc and I had to take a pic of this Zombie Pub they were selling.

Now I'm home enjoying the growler of Tributary Pumpkin Ale I picked up yesterday.

I saw some people this week complaining about NJ distribution. Either they are stupid or just have no perspective as we have so many great beers available here and this was a great week for new releases including FBS. Cheers!!!!
