Time to open this thread up. Party is set for 11/8.

As of now, details are sparse ($15 cover either in the form of cash or a $15 new toy donation- this is going to Toys for Tots, not to O'so!)

Begins at 4pm. Bottle releases will include: Door Kriek, BB Night Train, and BB Blackberry Night Train plus others.

Does anyone have any insight on how this event has happeend in the past? My big questions surround the bottle releases- are all bottles available at 4pm or are they staggered releases throughout the night?

I think they are expecting between 600-700 attendees.

From what I understand the release will be handled the same way they did it in January for their sour's special release. You go into their taproom, get a ticket, when your ticket number is called you go into the brewery and get your beer, pay for it, then exit out the brewery exit.

Sounds good. Was there much of a line? We've seen opposite ends of the spectrum w/ CW's Anniversary and the Great Amherst Beer Fest, so I'm trying to get a read on this one.

During the sour release I literally was in and out in 5 minutes with my bottles. It was packed but most people at that point were drinking in the taproom.

Was the sour release one beer being released, or a series of different beers? I'm sure they'll put the info out, but I'm wondering if they'll make all the different bottles available at once or if they'll stagger them throughout the night.

The sour release was like 4 different beers, all released at the same time. Im sure bottles will all be released at 4 (or at least all at the same time whenever that is), tappings might be staggered though.

From their newsletter I received today:

"Dank will return to us in bottles and draft again this year, as will Sweet Lady Stout, which is to be released in bottles this February. A new addition to our beer roster will be on tap this December, ladies and gents get ready for an amazing Imperial Stout. "

"...More Lambic styles in the works include a Kriek (cherry), a Framboise (raspberry), and a Grape Foch, so keep an eye out in the future. "

I'm thinking of trying to attend. Is there a bottle share anywhere? You pay for all beer you want to drink that day I assume? Its not 15 bucks and free beer right? Any more General info anyone can share?

$15 cover, then pay as you drink for beers on site that night. The cover is basically a fundraiser for Toys for Tots, so it's not like O'so is keeping that.

That's what I kinda figured. Is this event worth a 3 hour drive? Anyone ever bring stuff for a share?
