Yes, you and every other person on internet forums keeps saying that without any real info. Check their website here, http://www.gooseisland.com/beer/bourbon-county-vanilla-rye.html

I'm not saying it's right, but it clearly states 4 packs. I just wonder if it was a last minute switch like coffee last year...

Oops, I totally missed that. That's their older location. I am surprised it's not at the new spot.

In the other thread I think they said it was a misprint though I hope not a 4 pack would be awesome

Are they still located there and just have two stores, or have they moved locations?

Each "item" is generally around $20 in my neck of the woods, meaning that a 4pk of BCBS, BCBCS, or BCBBW will run you $20, as will a single 22oz. bottle of Vanilla Rye or Proprietors'. Depending on the store and your locale, I'd say give or take ~$5.

In VA it's $24 to $32 a 4 pack...have seen it as high as $12 a bottle, one shop the owner said its a dollar an ounce...she did have Old Rasputin XVI at a reasonable price.

They have 2 locations now from what I understand. The new location is much bigger and nicer too.

Never saw that, just lots of random speculation. As I said I really have no clue, but I wonder why they wouldn't change it if it was a mistake. Apparently coffee was label approved for 22s and 12 ounce 4 packs last year, and we know what decision they made.

I shot them an email asking if they'd be receiving any of them. Hoping for a response and possibly which location. Both are locations are LA? I'm from OC and not sure where out here it would be found.

It was between $18-23 a 4-pack in SC last year. And the same for a bomber of Backyard Rye.

Maybe some will make it to Alaska this year even after they claimed it was gonna make it to all 50 states last year.

Just go to BevMo or Total Wine. Otherwise check your local stores Facebook and Instagram, they will surely be advertising it.

I know it's called "Bourbon" County Brand Stout...but I'd love to see them, one day, age the stout in rum and brandy/cognac barrels as a variant. Not as a replacement to the bourbon barreled variety...but an addition. Or perhaps double barreled BCBS? Goodness.

    Please? lol

Do you know if it was released on Black Friday last year in SC? Or if it came out later?

They did Napa County Stout in red wine barrels with Brettanomyces. It was my favorite beer of all time (but quite divisive seeing that it was entirely flat, and many didn't find the flavors to mesh as well as I did). They also did Violet Hour BCBS, which was second use barrels after Manhattan cocktails were aged in the barrel; it was also delicious. It may not be out of the realm of possibility that we see different barrels in the future.
