Can someone tell me if this is a beer that Stone distributes widely or is it limited release? If so when does it come out? Thanks and cheers.

My understanding is that when they do this beer it is draft only, probably only in Cali (perhaps only at the brewery?). They may have done a really limited run of bottles at one time or another in the past. It would not make it out of the state though. Fyodor's classic was a BB imperial stout that was bottled somewhat recently but my understanding was that it was extremely limited and didn't make it to the east coast at all. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here!

That's basically Fyodor's Classic which is their BA imperial stout. Kind of pricey at 500ml for roughly $16.99. Felt like a 375 ml bottle when I poured. Damn good though. At the last Pour it Black Festival they had 2008 BA imperial stout along with Fyodor's classic. Couldn't really tell the difference.

And also Mikhail's Odd, which is the Espresso IRS in bourbon barrels.

I didn't see Fyodor's or Mikhail's anywhere in NM unfortunately.

So you are saying Fyodors is the BA Imperial Stout as I have had that? Is it the same beer just with a different name? Thanks for all of the help. Cheers

Those beers are only available at Stone stores directly. I grabbed two bottles each of the Fyoders and the Guardian's Slumber (which is the BA barley wine/Old Guardian) at the Stone store in San Diego airport. I was told they were only available on-site in CA.

There was some bottleshops that had them in CA as well. Not just the Stone stores. At least for Fyodor, Stygian Descent and Guardian's Slumber. Can't speak to Mikhails.

I believe even on the side of the bottle it says BA imperial stout. Curious about Mikhail's Odd.. Yes Fyodor's is quite pricey for what it is but it is tasty. One of the better things Stone has done recently.

I live in SoCal, Fyodor's was in bottle shops in the area for about $20, a little pricey, really good, I was able to get four bottles it went fast.
