Latest Pipeworks Releases and Updates (2018)

Dammit, saw the tweet from my shop about As You Wish, was thinking it was the barrel aged Batata thing and blew it off. Feel stupid now.

 

What do people think of Battlestation? I'm banging one right now and am really enjoying it. Good citrus farmhouse

 

I didn't have intercourse with my bottle but I do agree that it was excellent.

Those Elijah Craig 12 barrels do wonders. I loved it as well. Bringing 1 to share on darkness day.

 

Yeah, I'm bangin' one of those right now and totally concur.

 

I try to give myself an hour or so before reacting to beer as to not overreact. But this one is for sure. Absolute winner. I know the jones dog in 25 year barrels was phenomenal but this is the most drinkable and delicious offering yet. (assuming the capping is good, jones dog will peak in a year or two)

This beer is ready now and has tons of flavor;both from the beer, and the barrel.

 

My favorite part of the label is the poem on the back. I was having trouble wrapping my mind around it, but it all makes sense now.

 

Don't worry man, I got you The Coqui, and As you Wish this Friday at the sub.fm show!

 

Been in the city twice and can't find any AS YOU WISH or COQUI.. If its even out yet

They both are but the first wave went out on friday the 2nd wave should be hitting between tuesday and thursday. So half of the stores still havent gotten it yet.

Im sorry i just re read it. As you wish has probably all been distroed. Coqui is the one that half the stores havent gotten yet.

 

I heard Coqui was pretty limited. Like they only made 3 barrels. So you might want to act fast. I also heard WLV had some on the shelves again as up to a few hours ago, along with As you Wish and Over the line.
I had As you Wish on Draft, by far the better one out of Over the Line and Coqui.

 

Out of towner here coming to Chicago this weekend for PROGTOBERFEST... Anyways what would a short-list be of good recent releases from pipeworks still rather available on shelves? I wish I could try them all but, you know.

 

Ninja vs Unicorn is available pretty much all the time now. Attack of the Devil's Lettuce is being delivered this week.

 

A very few Citras, Coquis and As You Wishes left on the shelves at Binny's on Grand as of about 8:30 tonight.

 

To mirror this post, Attack of the Devil's Lettuce just hit distribution this week and is a must buy. Fresh Citra has come out, Reaper vs Unicorn hit two weeks ago and is still available, and you can still find Cherry Truffle Abduction in most places.

 

I know they got 3 cases of Citra.. not sure how much is left/gone.. just sayin.

 

I now have the ultimate decision to make; to wait till Thanksgiving with the family to crack Coqui or have it this weekend with my Puerto Rican friend.
