I have a family event I can't miss on Saturday from 11-12. For those of you that have been before, would it be possible to make it in the early AM to get a wristband and then come back later in the day to pick up?

Yes, I believe you will have until 4pm to get your allotment.

Go back to page 10 if you need all the details...don't come back at 4PM!

If you miss your allotted time, you will be able to enter up until 2:30pm to purchase bottles. If there are extra bottles after the initial sales, you will be able to buy up to four bottles of Darkness starting at 3pm (while quantities last, which typically is not long).

Also my heart skipped a beat upon first reading the Tap List. I saw Mole Bender and for a split second thought I was reading Moe's Bender.

This! Love washers. If I see you playing I will have to introduce myself with a pour of something and a request to play.

Google docs doesn't work for me at work, but since I saw some interest and possible trades for this in the IP sheet last I checked, BM me if you want to trade your 2012 Steel Toe Before the Dawn for my BCS Cherry Rye and will be there to camp Friday. Willl be arriving 3:30, myself!

OK, please don't ridicule me too much. I know it is a stupid question and basically already know the answer.

I am assuming the actual Darkness Day event when the gates open is no place for kids? Our sitter fell through and my wife really wanted to go.

    Anyone know the parking rules/arrangements?

I've been to Darkness 2 times in the afternoon, but this will be my first Darkness Eve. I plan on showing up around 3:30PM. Ideally I'd like to park as close to my spot in line/ camp area... Where is the parking cut off? I heard in certain areas you have to move you car by sunrise? Can we park in Surly's neighboring lots?

    Cheers!

I had my daughter there last year. I was only there for an hour and a half in the afternoon though. The only real issue is the music is very loud. You can sit further back in the big tent or hang out closer to the gate if the metal is too loud for your kid.

    Thanks.

My wife would have to strap in our 4 month old into a carrier. I was mostly worried by the music with both kids, but especially the 4 month old.

I think I will just try to find another sitter rather then be the "people who brought their kids."

This was back in 2010, but maybe this helps answer my questions

It will probably be that full by early evening this year. They do a pretty good job of squeezing a ton of cars in there but the odds of you having your car next to where you are in line is slim to none as they don't park along the curb like that anymore.
