    I would also assume that all of these Wednesday events are keg tappings rather than bottle sales, especially given the locations, but I'm assuming more info will come out as the date nears.

    I was thinking the same thing. Most likely that, with Top Hops doing the exclusive bottle sales on Friday morning like last year.

    Yep. And hopefully they'll at least have everything in stock this year so that I don't have to shlep back down to pick up my Vanilla Rye bomber!

    Exactly! Although it wasn't so much the shlepping as it was the impatient wait for them to arrive.

    Its showing on the Goose island website that Vanilla Rye will be in 4 packs.

    I got there at 8 and was about 20-25th in line. Once the doors opened it was pretty much in and out since they had the allotments already bagged up for you. No draft was tapped until noon IIRC, but I had to head out of town anyway.

    I would assume that's a misprint based on the label:

    I got there at 7:30. That said, I think everyone who was there by 9 got an allotment, if not more. For sure everyone got the regular, coffee, and barleywine, just not sure if latecomers got the Cherry Rye. Given the absurd time of day and year, though, I would assume that if you're there by 9 you'll be fine.

    believe it was 4xBCBS, 2xBCBCS, 2xBCBBW and a voucher for one of the bombers

    the black friday event is on at top hops... it's on the goose island website i believe.
