Beer Release (Short's Brew): Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster

Yeah... does shorts do a triple ipa?

 

I'm diggin' it, prefer short's Anniversary Ale a bit more though.

 

Found in Battle Creek.

 

Was able to get a sixer yesterday in Oakland County. Oh how I missed this one.
While this is a fantastic brew, am I the only one noticing that it is more Belgian this year than last? I swear last year I got more lemon and guava through it. Kind of like Cerveza not having as much lime as it did last year.
Not going to stop me from grabbing more. Wish this was year round.

 

i grabbed a 6'er from holiday wednesday, and i tapped a barrel of it today. if you see it on draft, drink up. it's going to be hard to find

 

Whereabouts? I hit two local stops around Troy with no such luck.

 

Check Champanes. Might have to ask for it. Friends of mine got some in Royal Oak. Champanes is worth the trip with their new bar.

 

Not my favorite, tastes like a bubblegum bomb. Still enjoyable enough, and there's nothing to complain about when Pan Galactic literally sits sandwiched between fifteen other varieties of Short's beers.

Looks like I'll be using my Pan Galactic funds on Lil' Wheezy instead. Woe is me...

 

Wasn't you. I bought substantially less this year. It's still good, but it's a once a week beer for me, not a once a day til its gone, like last year.

 

Does this get close to Chicago?

 

saw this at Horrock's in Lansing....one word: froody!

 

Was able to grab a 6 at Holiday as well (my first trip there and was elated by the selection! I was also surprised to see that some of these limited releases can be picked up by the single bottle at a decent price).

Can't wait until these are chilled to give them a go.

I am admittedly a bit over the top in my like for this 'category', but wow. For me, this is not far off of GLBC Chillwave. I am happy I picked up a whole six but may need to grab another...

Having had my first offer from Short's just last week, I'm sold!

Short's distributes only in Michigan, so New Buffalo is the closest place for you to drive because it is right at the extreme southwest corner of Michigan. (Exit #1 off of I-94.)
