I am heading to the Dallas/Garland areas and I am looking to see if this was still available? I heard the Weasel Rodeo may not be available yet, but if it is I would love to find some of this as well. I am also looking for a good place to pick up some 512 and Freetail as well. If anyone has any info please let me know.

    no on all counts.
512 bottles the double pecan porter only, and it is long gone. Freetail is san antonio only brewpub and it is illegal for them to distribute, and the Beer geek rodeo was long gone a while ago as well... You may be able to trade with someone IP though... that would be your best bet.

Freetail can only be purchased at the brewpub in San Antonio. 512 is going to be growler fill only right now as they don't have any bottles out right now. You may want to seek an IP trade for Freetail.

Or some Live Oak Hefe!! Yummmm. However, not sure where the OP is from. All The big cities(houston, austin, san antonio, DFW) get (512) and Live Oak on tap. If from one of the other cities, I would focus on trying some new smaller distro locals.

I'm not sure about DFW, but I know some of the more overlooked stores in San Antonio (like Freetail, ironically) still have BGR on the shelf. If you look hard enough, you might find some in DFW.

Freetail still had a small amount of Ananke and plenty of Old Bat Rastard in their cooler last time I went in there. Shoot me a BM if you're interested in a trade.

OP is from CA, click his username, it says there.

There is no more BGR around DFW unless it is in back rooms. It has been gone a while, and if there is some around, someone please BM me to let me know. I kinda missed the release. I was able to find a bottle a few weeks ago, but wanted more, lol.

If you were coming through Houston, I could do an IP trade since I have a few of all the bottles you wanted. Hopefully I have a counterpart in the Dallas area that could help you out!

Thanks for all the help! I guess I will have to wait to be able to try these. Hopefully, I can be able to get to try them soon and also the Whiskey Rodeo as well. :grinning:

On Saturday June 16th we are having a Beer Festival on Lake Ray Hubbard at the Saucer in Garland and will be pouring Jester King Whiskey Rodeo (the Bourbon Barrel aged version) and will have the Ranger Creek/Freetail/Faust/BlueStar collaboration San Antonio IPA. Hope that helps

Speaking of BGR, I saw a couple bottles at the Whole Foods on Woodway in Houston the other day.

yeah they've had it for a while. I'd pop in every now and then and pick one up, and there was always a few more there. I think they might be down to their last couple, if not gone by now.
