2014 Abraxas Release

    Did it hit Virginia distribution or did you travel to get bottles?

    Yes, it hit VA last year. I was just getting into this whole beer thing and grabbed 3 bottles. Wish I had grabbed more, but had my share on tap as well.

    Woah, 3 bottles with more available?? Good to know. I have a trader in the area, and while I knew Perennial distributed to VA, I had no idea releases like Abraxas would make it... hopefully my buddy there can scare up a couple.

    Do they allow proxys for the release if you win the lottery?

    Is the lottery for the BA Abraxas or just the regular?

    You are thinking of BA abraxas day which is in the spring...and for that release they have in the past

    Did anybody go last year & have some advice on what time to get in line to grab a couple of bottles? Thinkin' about heading in instead of trying to hunt it down.

    Unless you want Coffee Abraxas there is no reason to get there super early that day, or at all. They should have bottles available for sale at the brewery in the following weeks. Unless they switch things up from the past they won't sell the entire stock on Abraxas day. The bottle share that Saturday morning is pretty cool though

    To be fair that's atypical results, I also live in SE VA like @Cubatobaco and missed out on Abraxas last year. Or maybe I'm just slow.:astonished:

    My guess is the 14th at the earliest...that's when Beer Temple is having it's Abraxas release event, no details yet just a date set

    If anyone in Chicago knows where I can get 1 bottle of Abraxas, I'd love a BM or post on here please. I'm striking out everywhere trying to buy one :slight_frown:
