Wife came home with a 6 of week old Jai Alai and 750 of 2 year old Papaya Jai Alai. She's a keeper.

Papaya Jai Alai sounds awesome, but I don't know about 2 year old.

 

I just picked up 12 expeditions and don't plan on having a single one until it's at least a year old.

 

What a nice day here in North Cack-o-lacka! Drinking this one for the first time. Definitely another solid brew from Lagunitas. I like it.

 

Can't remember who posted Dire Straits on here recently but it got me on a little Dire Straits kick. This is a cool sing from back in the day ...

 

I did not pick up any gold notes in this at all. Heard there were flakes.
Very tasty, but I was expecting some gold flakes.

 

I, personally, think it's the nuts. Never had it fresh, discovered a case in the cooler a couple of months ago at a neighbor store. I wouldn't call it an IPA anymore but it's good to me. 9.99 but the owner gives me a deal cause I'm the only one buying it. 2 bottles left. I posted it here and people told me how bad it had to suck. One guy even got nasty thinking I was trying to trade. Oh well, I'll just keep enjoying it til it's gone.

This is sort of a wow beer. Never had this much spice in a beer before. It's like drinking something from Yankee Candle.


After a weekend of on call I'm back with a day off...and I'm ready to go. Damn, Saffron was so hot. No choice but to dig this tune.

 

Saw these with a 2/27/15 best by so grabbed a single. Been years since I've had it. Sitting out on my back patio now with a nice breeze winding down this Monday. No complaints.

A new high end American Brleywine from Brooklyn. Barrel aged 13.3% goodness. I don't feel it's worth $22 a bottle but it's good.

 

Got home from taking my oldest son to the dentist, no cavities! The wife was getting ready to go grocery shopping and take my daughter along so that leaves the boys home alone!
And that leaves me to make my own dinner...

Toasted raviolis, diced chicken, mushrooms, pepperoni, chunky tomato sauce, and some smoked cheddar cheese.

The beer is paired with you ask?
