I was under the impression they re-weigh everything, so it doesn't matter what you "tell" them the first time??

Also, regarding all the stats -- I actually did that (included the score for the "best" 144 and "best" 225 oz) with the package I sent to @Seanhand_atl , but then decided everybody would think I was loony if I posted :-)

 

They definitely don't reweigh everything, but I get the impression that if it's way off (like how my box is obviously not 37#) they'll definitely reweigh it; if it's close it's more of a crapshoot, so you can get away with a few pounds.

I did not think to do "best 225oz", but other than that, yeah I always do that. I also include cost and $/oz columns with sum/average/weighted average, but I didn't plan to post that info.

I am however happy to show the invoice for the Alaska shipping label to anyone that wants to see it, since the group contributed to paying for it, it's only fair to offer.

Unfortunately I only hit 3 wants, so I did my best to send you unticked beers, 450 oz. of them approximately. You were tough to shop for, but your getting nothing that I wouldn't drink.

Second to last hint: I see that you like a certain sport, and that certain sport has a presence in the suburb in which I live.

Unsurprisingly, FedEx re-weighed my target's package.... 50.8# Thank you all again for contributing to the cause, those funds are invaluable, and I was hoping to save a bit more of them for the "bonus box" I'll be sending out with the surplus.

By the way, so I can determine the surplus; now that you've got your label, @blackcloud please BM me how much you'd like me to send you from the collected amount (and a paypal email address to send it to). I expect we'll have enough after covering me to both get you covered and still send out an extra box.

I'm sure not, I tried to say it was 37.2#, there's no way any sane person would mistake that box for something weighing under 40#.....

I enjoy it. I wish it was a little thicker, but it's good. This and Cake are pretty much on the same page for me, with Bomb! then Huna being my top picks. Still haven't had Abraxas.
