Agree with this. I did a tasting with Mex Cake, Huna, DBH, Abraxas and Sexual Chocolate the consensus order of preference was 1.DBH, 2.Abraxas, 3.Huna, 4.Mex Cake and 5.Sexual Chocolate. The group was 6 guys with a wide variance of palates.

 

I had a moment, of "oh shit". But, then I was like "fuck it, too late now".

There are definitely some IPA's in those boxes.

 

Haha no worries, I was a bit drunk and was like oh man, that came out wrong. I think 077XX and Boat Beer are the only NJ hoppy beers I've gotten to taste, would totally not be disappointed with getting any of that

 

Abraxas tastes like Churros to me. So damn good.

 

I'm not sure why I don't have any Pizza Boy on my wants list...this stuff sounds awesome.

 

There might be 1 or 2 of those...

Probably because 95% of it is growler only, and the bottles aren't distributed outside a tiny geographic area (I'm 100 miles away and haven't seen a single one).

That said, if you ever do a trade with one of the C-PA guys (@PA-Michigander, @Mipper, @ninjembro) make sure they send you a growler of Sunny Side Up, very possibly the best non-BA coffee stout I've ever had.

 

....and a small on that's still on the truck. Sounds like this will be a good day for you, but sadly the third box will probably be pretty underwhelming after two big ones.

Just opening some Texas boxes. Half way thru and I have to take a break. These boxes are meticulously packed. I have now learned the correct way to pack a box.

 

Lol. Hopefully the bag of firecrackers didn't bust open. It was a very tight fit but I went with it hoping for the best.

That's funny. I love em too, but they sure do wreck your pallete. I took them to my last bottle share and that was a mistake.
