Founders is smoother, more drinkable. A slightly superior beer in my opinion, though the ABV difference really makes these two different beers and therefore tough to compare. The victory is more of a super hoppy apa while the Founders is a straight up IPA.

Yeah... I'm not far from the brewery, and you'd be lucky to stumble upon some now even...

I just picked up my keg last night kegged September 3rd. I'll need a larger sample size, but with just one taste I realize how good a beer it is. Huge grapefruit bitterness on the finish.

Had a buddy grab me two 4 packs last night at Below Deck Bottle Shop in Conshy

I think they still have a few left...

PS: Can someone keep me posted on sightings of Hop Ranch? Por favor

That was a late Jan/early Feb release IIRC. But ya, I'm looking for a case when it hits.

Talked to a couple of stores today and both said they don't think this is coming to DC. Hope that's not true.

I personally think Hop Ranch, Harvest and the old Liberty Bell Ringer all have a very similar hop profile. All super fruity, citrusy, dry and bitter. They have different malt profiles, but all are super hoppy and clean and crisp.

Wow! Your palate and my palate are quite different when it comes to Hop Ranch and Harvest.

    Cheers!

Where are you located? I grabbed a four pack either at Cooks in Westmont or Canals in Pennsauken.

This ended up tasting exactly like Troegg's Nugget Nectar to me. Any of you get that as well?

I agree it taste like Liberty Bell Ringer, but don't feel it taste at all like Hop Ranch.
