Other Half Brewing

Just tried the Short Dark and Handsome. A nice roasty dark chocolate stout.

I kicked the Nice Life. No more of that for a while. And they are on their last keg of All Green Everything.

 

What's the latest on In Absentia Luci?

 

I was there early yesterday, damn, must have just missed th AGE. Of all of the hoppy beers I have head from OH, I think Nice Life is my least favorite.

 

Stopped by very quickly this weekend. This tiny brewery is in a somewhat odd spot but it fits with Brooklyn very well. More importantly the beer was awesome. I grabbed one growler of one of their IPA's (sorry I forgot which) and it was great. Also, rolled the dice and grabbed a growler of their farmhouse ale which was actually solid as well. I am really excited about this new spot. Now if they would just sell tshirts I would be all set!

I was wondering the exact same thing. I can't make it to this unfortunately but will definitely make a trip to the tap room this weekend if that ends up being the case.

ETA: Anyone have any guesses as to what is in that box?

The Nelson was fantastic. I also had my first All Green Everything last night and it certainly did not disappoint.

 

Good thing you got to try it - that's the last of it for a while.

 

Any chance you think that will still be on tap tomorrow? Coming up to NYC from Philly on Saturday for dinner at Luksus. Was going to head over to Other Half at noon and hang out for couple hours. Would love to try All Green Everything and Green Diamonds.

 

it was still on last night, but its the last keg so it could be gone at any moment. its still worth heading over just for the the Nelson IPA the tapped last night. also barrel aged v-love bottles are available again!

Ooooh...I may be buying some bottles if they are still around tomorrow.

 

Has anyone actually tried their ba v-love from the bottle yet? I plan on grabbing a growler fill tomorrow afternoon, @dangelop were you there last night and know what's currently on?

 

Yup. Was there last night. Not 100% sure of the whole lineup but I know nelson, all green, ipa, esb, short dark and handsome were all on. Not sure what else.
