Tree House Brewing - October 2014

hmmm..maybe a release timed around EBF, like last year...

 

So, this collab will be made in VT. I have a feeling it would be a small batch ala Double Sunshine.

 

By the sounds of that article Lawson's beer sabbatical is kind of open ended while he attends to some family and business related things, so we will see how it pans out.

FWIW, It was ACBF* when YARRRGGGHHH dropped last year, EBF weekend was when they brewed with TG.

 

If I had to guess, I'd say it won't be smaller than the TH batch of YARRRGGGHHH. Lawson brews on a 7 BBL system if I am not mistaken, so it's not going to be smaller than a TH batch unless they brew a single rather than double batch.

 

Ah that's right. Getting my tasty DIPA collabs crossed in my head. The effect of many beer fests...

 

Is anyone there today? Any insight as to whether Julius will make it through the day?

 

Anyone with insight as to what might make it through to friday(really hoping to get MA and Julius)? Also, If I have a 750ml tree house growler can I swap it for a 64oz when I go?

Running low on 3 out of 4: Haze, Julius, and MA are all at (< 1 BBL Remains) as of last page update yesterday morning.

 

They do not take back bottles or do exchanges.

 

Unfortunately they don't let you swap, I have tried. Your best bet is to probably ask someone here if they'd switch.

 

What time are you planning on getting there Friday? I have extra 2L growlers that I'd be happy to swap for a 750ml. I won't be getting there till around 7:30 though.

 

Does anyone know what hops are used in Haze? The description says "We constructed this beer around hops we currently have plenty of access to" which makes me curious. Had some of the latest batch last night and it is just oh so delicious.

 

Any idea if they will put something else on after the Julius, Haze or Ma kick? Was thinking about heading up on Saturday AM.

So, the consensus would be that they probably will? I'm thinking they don't try to ride out the weekend with just TWSS.

 

@griffey123 Yes, more than likely. That is why I pointed you to the link since that is where they update things pretty much daily.

 

I don't recall (at least recently) them ever starting a day with only one beer on tap. They have run out as a day progresses... The only thing is that you might not find out till the night before something new goes on.
