San Diego Beer Week (SDBW) 2014

The problem is always where to set all the little glasses...

 

Somebody read my message with their serious glasses on.

I suspect after having been quite a few big events since then (the BA release parties, anniversary, etc.), this year's will be even better. Having the separate flight stations spreads things out quite nicely, but what I really think they need to do for these events is to block off part of the bar for walk-up service only, and block off that little table area to the right of the bar for dirty glass returns.

 

Heh, much as I’d like to, that sounds like way more work than I’m willing to put in.

At least it is going to beer and not to hookers and blackjack....although that would be awesome too.

Crap, I still need to buy my additional bottles of Veritas too. I need a raise!

 

Just succumb to eating PB&Js and like rice and noodles for a month while the funds replenish.

 

These flights went on sale today at noon for Alesmith, and here my better half was thinking ahead just in case somehow Alesmith decided to sell out.

Sadly I am on-call that week so I can only cruise by starting at 7pm so only one flight per day for me, otherwise I don't think I could enjoy 12 tasters properly with only 1.5hours until last call.

 

I was thinking about this, and drinking 3 flights is a bit risky. That's 24oz of 12%+ beer in a sitting. I'll have to take my time with them. I'll go right after work at like 3, so hopefully I avoid the shitshow.
