I gave it a 3.75. That was very generous as I was finishing it. There was a lot going on. But, as it warmed up I got more of a sour taste, maybe from the apricot? I would rate overall 3.5 and just say it's very interesting but worth drinking once....maybe only once though.

 

So, this evening, I arrived home and saw a box on my porch and quickly realized what happened. I had been ninja'd. It was the first time and I am not sure what I did to deserve it. Not sure who my ninja is but I believe it is @wheelzntoys . Thank you so very much!!!
So kind and generous of you! This will not be forgotten.

By the way, these were all wants.

The hefeweizen was a special request for my girlfriend - hence the odd man out look to the shipment.

Thank you so much. This is a lot of great beer including two beers I will absolutely love (the Prairie beers). Also, this box does a GREAT job of adhering to the locals requirement - I think Clown Shoes and Oskar Blues are the only two "non-local" breweries. Fantastic!

I think that Clown Shoes brew was only distro'd in TX too (correct me if I'm wrong)... so it's pretty local too...

 

Did not know that. I knew Clown Shoes had a beer they distro'd only to Minnesota (or Michigan?) but I didn't know they did that for multiple states. Even better!

 

They also had single distro to Ohio, and are releasing ones for NJ & GA

 

Does she need quantity or just one to try? I can throw a vanilla and a regular in a flat rate box. (and whatever else is needed, that probably isn't enough)

 

Yup, TX only. Malt is from TX and the malt tastes surprisingly like Black Metal me thinks (I think its the same malters? that JK uses)

 

Well that WS sucked. The Giants have beaten both my Rangers and Royals in the past couple of years in the last game.

When I get back into town I will randomize a name to receive some nice Boulevards in memory of a great Royals season and ship it next week.

At least I get to see some pRon from my target tomorrow.....
