Deths Tar and Blue Jean release???

Gravedigger Billy's release is the official kickoff to Revolution’s Deep Wood Series of barrel-aged beers available this fall and winter. Seven different Deep Wood beers will be released in bottles this year. The lineup will include a second new addition, Blue Gene, a blueberry porter also aged in bourbon barrels, coming out in December.

Deth's Tar, beer number 2 in our Deep Wood Series this year, is aged in bourbon barrels, and named after our exalted leader, Emperor Deth. This one is definitely on the dark side. We're aiming for a bottle release and draft release near the end of October.

 

I haven't been into the actual pub in a while. Do they sell bottles and cans there yet?

Just a bump because I don't remember reading about it anywhere else but I picked up some deth's tar yesterday at the brewery and one of the brewers was talking about how they are going to make a coffee variant of deth's tar that will be draft only within a few months. Supposedly they made enough barrels to bottle it but decided there's already enough barrel aged stuff being released by them over the next few months.

 

How much were the bottles going for? The usual $15?

Do they do limits on deths tar at the brewery?

 

No limits at the brewery, purchased this afternoon

 

@77apm , is that the Brewery on Milwaukee or the tap room on Kedzie that sells bottles? I didn't think the brewery on Milwaukee did, but I could be very wrong.
