I've seen Bodega around a handful of places. Definitely look forward to trying to this beer and others from TR after seeing all the positive reviews!

Bodega really good. Had a little bit of "milky" taste to it I didn't love, but very enjoyable beer.

    Hi all,

For those interested, we're launching our first IPA, Innate, this Sunday at Alewife. Full description available here.

    Cheers!

"What is Innate is what comes naturally, and for us that's well-rounded hoppy beers and pride in our native NYC roots."

Good beer is good beer, no matter where it is brewed. Can't wait to get a taste!

I'm glad I made this thread and equally as glad that my misconceptions were cleared up (thanks to @LarryK). Sadly I can't go back and edit my post to tone down the snarky remarks.

I haven't had any of the brews that you all have been speaking pretty highly of. Not by choice - just haven't been around at the times they were on tap. Hopefully that changes soon enough...or if you bring some kegs to Beer Culture

    Cheers, Dave!

No worries whatsoever; we knew you had good intentions! We can't wait to be operating in NYC; it really is an amazing time to be a beer lover in New York right now with so much quality work being done across the board.

Beer Culture is definitely on the list of accounts we hope to open, though if that's your local spot I would recommend swinging by Pony HK if you can, as they currently have Bodega on tap (and a keg of Field 2 in the cold room).

Forgot to post last week that I tried the Innate. Good stuff. Nice hoppiness with low bitterness.

The bombers should be available at a handful of additional retail locations across the city, most likely starting next week -- I will share that information as soon as I have a list.

Just had a glass of Alternate Side at Hops Hill. Definitely liked it and was wishing they had gotten bottles, too! The coffee is just right and as the beer warms the chili flavor warms you up. Really nice American Stout!

Reviving this thread even though the title is real outdated.

I'm drinking their Field 2 saison right now and it's superb. Really peppery and a bit sweet on the nose, but the flavor is really excellent: semidry, spicy, appropriately hopped with a hint of tart fruit.

Probably the best saison I've had from a can, I can say that much. Awesome that it comes in tallboy 4pks.
