Summit Harvest Fresh IPA

Had it at the brewery last Friday. Utterly delicious. I think they hit another home run with this one. It should be in stores this week.

 

It's been on shelves in Iowa for over a week. It's very good - probably my favorite Founder's hopped up beer to date.

 

Founders? Are you talking about the same beer? This thread is about a Summit release.

 

I think you were confused because Founders is called 'Harvest Ale' while the Summit beer is called 'Harvest Fresh IPA'.

 

Crap, my bad - I just saw Harvest Ale and got all hop stoopid!

 

I really like the Founder's Harvest Ale.

 

I heard it was fresh hopped saga

 

It's fantastic. Summit has been knocking it out of the park lately.

 

Is this pretty much at all the stores by now or is it still be delivered to some? Can't wait to get my fresh hop saga on.

 

My local store did not have it yet this evening; I didn't call around, I just stopped by on the way home from work. They did have a single 6 pack of Herkulean Woods, though, as a consolation prize!

 

When was this bottled? I passed on Founders because $11/4pk for a wet hopped ale bottled a month ago isn't cool.

 

Tiffany's Sports Lounge in St Paul (Highland Park) tapped a keg of it today. I hear it's good, but haven't tried it.

I think that HW is tasting better than ever with the little age it has on it.

Mine is: Best by Date is 3/22/15 the Julian code is 4296 which comes out to be Oct 23 2014

 

I called a few stores in Eagen today and no-one has it...one said it is not being released until next week.

 

According to @summitbeer , it was to be on trucks last week.

 

Sounds like kegs of this should arrive in Central Iowa this week yet and bottles next week. Stoked to try it!
