If Yuengling is considered craft then that would be my first.

Definitely Yuengling (when I was still in high school!). It was probably 16 oz returnable bottles--remember those?--of their Premium Beer.

Though really, I don't know if that counts as "craft."

I'd say it counts, but what do I know. Love me some Yuengling.

I bought a case of Black Note last year, then a case of Oberon a couple of years ago.

    Two cases, one brewery.

Assuming you mean an American-made beer, it was probably New Amsterdam (either that or Anchor Steam). Back in the 80s buying beer by the case was kind of the default position. We'd get variety buy figuring "I'll get the Dinkel Acker Dark, you get the Bass, and the other guy will get the Sierra Nevada- then we'll all share", so which brand was first doesn't really stand out to me.

Henry Weinhard's Amber Ale, if memory serves. Circa 2001-2002.

If you count PBR, then PBR

If not, I split a case of BCBS with some buddies last year. My only regret was that I split it with them and didn't keep a whole case for myself.

My first case purchase was Sierra Nevada Narwhal, followed by Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, and recently Ballast Point Victory at Sea.

My first craft case purchase....Storm King. I kept in mind for vintage exploration. Found out, I liked Storm King with some age on it.

Gubna. A whole case of Gubna. I used to sneak them into my friend's refrigerators. I was like a Gubna Santa.

The one and only case of craft I ever bought was not too long ago: the SN Beer Camp Across America case from Costco.

I've never bought a case, but I'm contemplating buying an FBS case - - though I really don't need it.

Lagunitas Sucks on multiple occasions because not only did I love that beer but so did my wife. I've bought four 4 packs of FBS several times not sure why I just didn't go the distance on a case.

I've only purchased 4 cases in my life:

    1. Head Topper
    2. FBS
    3. Backwoods Bastard
    4. Westbrook Gose

    Worth every penny.

I bought a case of Ayinger Oktoberfest prolly in 2005.
500mL bottles. I loved that beer so much I though it was really smart to take advantage of the case price and get each for like 6cents less each.
Lately I'll just pick up 2-3 of those and buy a ton of other Oktoberfest beer
