Beer Release (Short's Brew): Quasar Dank

Hasn't landed a lot of places yet. We just got the variety pack in Lansing, but we seem to have received Pan Galactic earlier than most.

 

Alter Spalter = one of the best Short's beers I've ever had.

 

Where did you pick up a fall variety pack in the Lansing area? I haven't seen them anywhere.

 

Variety pack per my beer guy will be in holland tomorrow.. at the spartan stores.

We are definitely out of Quasar, should still have the varieties stacked up.

 

Was at Champanes on 13 and van **** yeaterday. They had about a case and a half left.

 

Quasar was one of me favorites of the Short's release this year...what an outstanding beer...the rye and hop bitterness dried out the beer perfectly!

 

Anybody know if this is left anywhere around west Michigan? Specifically west side of GR/wyoming/grandville/hudsonville? I'm guessing it's long gone now that I see Evil Urges and The Curl everywhere around town. Bummed to have missed this one...

 

Spartan family fare south side of holland u might get lucky it was there last time I checked a couple days ago. I can text the d and w beer guy for holland and he can save one for u if it's there.. (and it pays to become friends with the main beer and wine guy)

 

Sure, find out if they have it. Thanks Pete. However, no need to have him hold it for me - not sure when I'll be in the Holland area, and with the weather this week I'm not super motivated for extra side trips. But if I know for sure they have it I might change my mind. Thanks.

You can try a Plan B if you are heading anywhere near Battle Creek soon. I saw some QD at Horrock's last Thursday along with some other recent Short's releases that are typically off store shelves by now in most other stores. So Horrock's tends to have a low turnover of many beers.
