Below Average (or Bad) Beers You Still Like

    No I don't take it as a knock at all. I've always had the same issue with Miller Lite. I can drink Bud Light and Coors Light like they're going out of style, but Miller Lite has never tasted right to me.

    Also I don't know if this counts but Mermaids Red by Coronado has a 81 and is not the normal big boy people talk about by them but I LOVE that beer

    I'm with you, but in small doses. Made the mistake of buying a 1/4 keg a couple years ago and was bored with it after 1 night.

    At non craft bars usually go for the champagne of beers, High Life, and on the beach my wife and I always get the shandy pack from leinenkugels. That orange shandy tastes just like the slimer hi-c juice box and its amazing.

    I don't think it is a bad beer but it gets a fairly low rating on BA - yes, that is Guinness. To make it worse, I like it in the into can. This just goes well, at least to me, with so many different types of food.

    Definitely Shiner Bock. Also love me some Genesse Cream Ale, in the 24oz variety. Best $1.50 you can spend! Bought a case this summer for $16 whole dollars!!!

    If I am going super cheap it would be PBR or OG Coors aka the Banquet Beer. Really like to drink OG Coors at wedding's as it seems appropriate. I used to buy OG Coors in college for band parties. I could always tell when someone was drinking my beer, because nobody else bought it!

    Whenever I'm canoeing all day, or out on a boat on the lake in the summer, I resort to Busch Light. It hasn't failed me yet

    I like it much more than Lager. I'd probably do a 1/4 of it if my beer refrig could fit it, but it can't. I don't think I'd get bored after 1 night, but I could see being tired of it after most of the keg is gone.

    I've previously admitted that I'm a Shiner fan. I love a cold Bock almost any time of the year. I'm also a fan of Negra Modelo. They're my go to beers at most Tex-Mex places.

    On hot summer lawn mowing days, a little 6 pack cooler around the steering wheel of the mower full of Leinenkugel shandy varieties. Can't say that ever gets old.

    Coors light in the aluminum pint bottle as cold as you can possibly make it. There will always be a place for this.
