Just cracked open my bottle of BA V-Love and I am super impressed. Hoping I can grab another bottle tomorrow when I get my growler filled with Nelson. The barrel notes are subtle, which I think works perfectly with the base beer.

I thought I read in an earlier post that bottles were sold out? Not trying to start rumors, but I believe it was on page 18.

Someone on the previous page mentioned there are more bottles available now. I'm heading there now and will confirm when I get back.

They were sold out. This is second bottling from the same batch I believe. 1st batch was slightly bretted. These are not.

Yeah, I'm here now and that is indeed the case. Still 3 bottle limit at $15 a bottle, looks like there's about 4-5 cases left. Drinking a short dark and handsome while I wait for my growler fill, really tasty stuff.

How's it the "same batch" but the "first batch" has brett and these ones don't? Did they just add that yeast to the bottles or something? Do these have the same labels?

Same bottle labels. Not sure on the Brett, it was either added to the bottles or one large batch was aging in multiple barrels with slightly different treatments?

Dropped by for a bit this afternoon. Nelson is stellar. Picked up 3 BA V-Love bottles, can't wait to try. Nice meeting you @Leeds_xx

Nice meeting you as well @Msudukie.

Really glad I made the trip out to Other Half. Had two pours of All Green Everything (lived up to the hype and more), a glass of the Nelson (fantastic) and did a flight with Cool Summer Bro, Hop Showers, V-Love and the Nelson again. Not a bad beer among them. Ended up leaving with a 64 of Hop Showers, about 12 oz of All Green Everything (keg kicked while filling my growler) and three bottles of the Chardonnay Barrel V-Love.

Will definitely be making a return trip in the not so distant future. Cool place playing some solid music and serving some really great beer.

Does anyone know if there are any bottles left of V-Love at the tap room for today?

To answer your question, only a small amount of brett was used for the initial bottling. There is only one batch, but the first wave had a TINY bit of brett in the bottle. Sam expressed to me that they just had a lil brett laying around that needed to be used so he tossed it in.

Finally had the Nelson yesterday - first pour of a fresh keg. Sooooo good. Went down so quick.

Also finally tried the Doug. Not sure how I missed this one, but it's a super danky black IPA that I could drink everyday.

Also thanks to Anthony and Dan for the taste of Plan Bee Mattrazzo.

They still have V-Love bottles for sale. I picked one up.

Bouncing back and forth between Other Half and Threes is gonna be the jam once Threes is officially open.

I was down on Saturday. @Kanger - didn't realize that was you, but glad you got a taste of that Plan Bee! I spoke with @jrnyc after you left and put 2+2 together.

Just came here to say Doug is back and better than ever. Stupid solid beer.

First Gold is on the horizon. Possibly the best beer ever brewed by Sam + Matt. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks.

Yeah I realized it was you when I checked into Untappd and saw you checked it in too! Oh well, we're both constantly at the tap room so I'm sure we'll run into each other soon.

I'm happy that my local beer shop got this for growler sales and at the same price as the taproom.

    Can you reveal the style?

Erik and I were talking, once Threes is up and running, we should get a BA get together on a Saturday afternoon where we all hit both places.

Yep. Also Pacific Standard and 4th Ave Pub are just a few blocks from Threes as well!
