Man, I love Beachwood to death, (just had two fantastic Hoppy Birthday's there today) but I just don't understand the logic of this. Why so many wales at once? Cascade night last year was a mess. This is going to be 10 times worse.

I agree. I love Beachwood and go often but I will more than likely just avoid this mess. I get the idea of having an epic taplist and making it an event but it will just end up being a pain in the ass.

I'd assume the decision was driven by Shelton who is in town for the weekend and likely providing all the beer for the events.

I was wondering the same, but this makes sense.

Still, maybe they could've at least separated HF and Cantillon for different nights. I'm sure this would help.

I'll be flying down to OC the Sunday after these events. Crossing my fingers they'll have leftover beer from the Friday event when I have dinner there that night.

I dunno... You may just have to live with getting Beachwood's normal line up of house beers.

    I know, the horror.

I don't foresee anything on that tap list sticking around till the end of the day.

Darn, all this & i recognize none of them. Yes I'm a rookie to the majority of these but no noob to beachwood.

That was my initial reaction, but I wonder if, in addition to the straight-up whale-bonanza factor, there isn't something genuinely valuable and even edifying about being able to taste so many 3F/Cantillon/HF beers side to side -- usually you taste a great, complex, rare beer in relative isolation; here you can really detect/savor/appreciate/note the differences from glass to glass, with each beer fresh in your mind (and on your tongue), in a way that I bet deepens, rather than diminishes, enjoyment...

Yes Friday is going to be pandemonium, yes it's probably too many rare beers on one tap list, but yes I will definitely be there, dammit. And yes, I'm already in line for a table.

Someone please report back if *all* of these beers are on tap.

If Armand is pouring 3F Oude Gueuze from a keg, something has changed dramatically in the world.
