Parabola in NY!?

Truck's running late over here in South Salem.

 

yeah, true....he literally had to pull out the shipping receipt and calculate the price, so it could have been a mistake...still odd about the parabola difference - i def paid $18.50 all-in, so perhaps some poor math on his part

anyone found anymore in LI? i'd like to get another bottle or two

No, Not serious. I can't say yet as they still haven't shown and I don't know what it's going to cost me. Rest assured, I always shoot for the lowest possible price. I ain't no price gougin' sugar cookie eatin' monster.

 

Was just in New Beer a few hours ago, they have Fruet at 29.00 and Cascade's the Vine for 22.00, I think. I passed as I was picking some other things up for trade and have spent WAAAAAAAY too much dough on beer lately. Just a heads up..there was like 4-6 bottles of each remaining if you're so inclined.

 

Bellport has Wookey, no Parabola yet.

 

Parabola truck just got here (Along with 5/29 bottled Peeper/Zoe omnomnom). Parabola will be 16.99 over here 1 per customer (of course). Vista Beer & Beverage. Boonies rep!

I picked up 3 bottles of Wookey and 3 bottles of Parabola at my local shop on LI on Friday.

 

Big good times on LI! Got a Fruet (but what a sticker price ($36)!) a coupla days ago, and today got handed a Parabola! So excited. Always wanted to try this. Had the Wookey Jack last week, and that's still around, but the Parabola is gonna go fast - our guys out here are getting like a case each and the store I visited only had 4 left already (he got it in yesterday).

 

no bottle limit, or you have connections? i was able to score 2, but it took some work...i think icould swing a third, but i might give the wallet a break and just enjoy what i have

one of the guys at superstar was telling me that they were a little upset that the entire superstar chain (8 stores?) received a single case, while big z (1 store) also got a case...and many of the bottles were already reserved....just shows how limited this stuff is

oh, and back to the price issue from before...this time it was $19.99, so i just got lucky on my first $17 purchase

 

Hope you still have one on Friday! Gonna try to make my way up there on my lunchbreak.

DeCicco's in Pelham just got in Parabola yesterday for those that are looking. It was only 1 case though.

 

found another shop that had parabola at $15.99 and fruet at $31.

 

a bit of both, but mainly connection there for being such a good customer... each bottle was 17.99

good price on both

 

yeah, there are a few shops around that actually charge retail on the limited stuff if they get them. the mark up these days is just insane...even on many of these beers that are already super pricey

 

so has anybody actually drank a 2012 yet? how is it?
