I would say no I put up alot of solid bottles and got 1 bite...very limited beer that I think was in the 200 300 bottle range that came out some time ago... gave up a 2009 Darkness http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...f-birth-of-tragedy-ft-list.20598/#post-249309
I traded away one in December before I even knew what I had. Don't recall off the top of my head what I got for it, but it wasn't much. Anyways, I tried a few days ago to trade one for a Damon, and got no bites. Not sure what else I would take for it. I'm sure this knowledge has been tremendously helpful to you.
I traded one away for a 2012 Kate. I traded another as part of a bigger deal, but I suppose you could fairly say it was for Cuvee de Castleton. IMO Beat won't get it done. BoT count was in the hundreds (I want to say 800, but don't quote me on it). Allocations also varied depending on when you got it, but a lot of people only got 1 bottle of it. Plus it came out 7 or so months ago. Net-net, I think it's a really tough get right now. You'll probably have a better shot when the next batch comes out. No idea when, but I think I saw that it was in barrels at the moment.
Well, it's looking like I will probably have to wait for the next release. Oh well, hopefully I can get one next time around... Thanks all for the info.
BoT is a great beer and actually backs the hype in my opinion. have had the pleasure of enjoying it a few times now and never disappointed. that being said, i'm sure plenty of the hyped talked about brews could get it done or if you are willing to squash $4$ you always stand a chance.
