Taphunter shows only Whole Foods on Park Lane. Everyone waiting for new batch.

 

anyone know a place in austin with it? Looking to fill up a couple growlers

 

I look online everyday. Nothing yet. I recommend downloading the TapHunter App (to see whole foods) and look through a few times a week. Also check out beermenus.com for updates. Same goes for checking out the growler room menu on FB although I have yet to see them get a single keg.

For a while Whole Foods was on Beer Menus but they now use taphunter. Its updated frequently too.

 

Lakewood Growler has Jaberwocky. It's their DIPA and I had it the first time this past weekend. I enjoyed it.

 

This is also what I do, but last time they had YR the taphunter was not updated right away - I saw it on the list at the store and luckily I had a growler in the car. I think the keg kicked before they even added it on there. I don't know if this happens all the time, or just this time around, but just a heads up.

And I honestly hope it stays that way... they waste too much beer pouring growlers they way they do lol

 

Yeah YR was added because when you told me about it I checked and it was on there. That said, it was also on there for a day or two after it kicked so its best to call.

 

How hard is it to find/how fast does it go? I'm very curious; just started hearing the rave about this beer and can't decide if it's something I need to jump on because it'll go quickly or if it's at least somewhat readily available

 

No need to break your neck getting it. While it is good, it is not "limited." Just keep your ear to the street and get it when it is convenient. It's around and will continue to be, more and more.

It's currently on tap at Lakewood Growler. Believe they tapped a fresh keg yesterday.

 

That's partly why I'm asking because I'm pretty close to Lakewood Growler. Is it a beer I need to seek out sooner rather than later or, like someone mentioned, will it increasingly be available? Either way I'm pretty excited to try it.

 

They have it fairly regularly at Lakewood. Shouldn't be a problem for you to get it.
