Barrelworks will be closed Saturday, but that doesn't mean the taproom and restaurant will be. They'll be going as normal. The only times it'll really be as busy is when the event is going on. So by 3, it should be less crowded. You won't get the barrel works stuff, but everything else is great. So why not hit up wineries for the wife first and end the day with Firestone?

Good insight. I can do either late Saturday or just the first part of the day on Sunday, so will just gauge with her what she'd prefer.

I bought my ticket at 9am on Wednesday right when they went on sale. I had to skip the last release due to it being soccer season for my Son. I'm really looking forward to the event. It should be a good time.

There's a pretty cool distillery down from Figueroa, and a fantastic restaurant "Industrial Eats" that is well worth your time.

Industrial eats is awesome. Seating can be a pain but the food is great.

Nojoqui Falls Park is a nice place to take a hike (and bring a beer along for) on the way out from Buelton. Solvang is touristy, but Paula's Pancake House is a must stop for danish style pancakes. Just north of town is Hans Christian Anderson Park which can be a nice place to chill, and, has this thing http://www.concretedisciples.com/in...248-hans-christian-anderson-skatepark-solvang

Does anyone know of a good place for breakfast burritos in Buellton? I'd like to grab something to eat before I hit the event.

Im heading to the event from Vegas. It's honestly to the point now where if you want to do something then you just need to do it that day. We are at that point. I was originally staying in Buellton, but decided that driving up to Paso right after would be better. I belong to a couple wine clubs up there and thats a much better option.

What an odd question lol. Maybe try Yelp for something that specific. Barrelworks will have small bites there, for free.

i too am a breakfast burrito aficionado, so i understand the specificity. like i said above though, Paula's Pancake house is a great breakfast spot (no breakfast burritos though) that's worth checking out as an alternative.

if you find out @AleHunter805 let me know

Just ate at Paula's last Thursday. Can confirm, no breakfast burritos but everything else was delicious. Was also looking on yelp for breakfast burritos but couldn't find a place with them.

Sounds like someone needs to call in a breakfast burrito truck in to Barrelworks stat!

hmmm. i might have to try that out. skeptical of a Mariott restaurant, but open-minded

as an aside, there are some good breakfast options in Santa Ynez.

i'm actually not going to this event. just here for the breakfast burrito talk.

i should go up there and set up a breakfast burrito truck. at the risk of sounding immodest, mine are the fucking best

    Do. It.

Now that I think of it, all beer releases from now on should require a breakfast burrito truck there ready to serve the people.

One week... who's excited? Now for the perennial question of whether to drink less this week to spare my liver for the upcoming onslaught, or drink more to build up some extra tolerance...
