More info ... straight from Bottle Logic:

Bottles will be sold exclusively at the Hilton and Marriott hotels near the Anaheim Convention Center

Having gone to Blizzcon a few times in the past I have a really good feeling these bottles will last. While nerds there have money, they have no good taste in beer. The multiple parties I went to and time I spent in the Marriot and Hilton bar for the few days during the event, the amount of pisswater that was drank (when much better options were available) was obscene.

But if they are allowing purchasing of the bottles for takeaway then I can grab a few since I am meeting a few friends there saturday night.

That may be true of the customers of Blizzard but I have a few friends who work there and they are over-the-top serious about their beer. I wouldn't be surprised to see these guys with cases of this release.

It's ok if they take cases. I assume everyone that works for Blizzard is a nerd of some sort, so just talk loudly at them and they will start to run and then eventually trip (you know, because nerd) and take a bottle. =P

Trying to figure out if they are selling it today or not without calling up the hotel.

Seeing as how they have a Brewfest in-game, and an entire questline in MOP about brewing (as well as a dungeon in a brewery!) I would say yeah: there are some craft beer geeks at Blizz.

That means I would need to talk to like...a person......

Either way buddy's wife works a couple minutes away and is already heading on over to check.

There will be plenty of people there who enjoy good beer (last year there was a bottle share although I was unable to attend).

I think the problem you're talking about is more a problem of the venue. IIRC the Anaheim Convention Center had a couple decent beers last year but the Marriott and Hilton are always crazy and I don't think good beer is a priority for them.

That would be it, they both had the usual miller/coors/stella/heiny/and like one decent beer.

When I went I just brought growlers up from LA and Port, so I had plenty of good beer.

Edit: The bottles are available starting at 5pm tomorrow I am told.

The hilton and the Mariotte both had them for sale at $14 a pop. No badge to the convention needed. Bottle logic had steins with the logo available but that line was insane.

Wonder if the hotels will still have them for sale after Blizzcon...I'll be flying in tomorrow and I'm staying very close to the Hilton.

The stein was plastic and given with each $10 pour.
