I wasn't trying to start shit. If you read my post, I compliment the beers but just express an opinion on the format/pricing. Didn't know you had to have unconditional love to post about Pizza Boy. Cheers kids.

So I take it this is Abascio-Cell (Zinfandel)?

Not much more info on it but that is likely the case...and based on the prices last time it will be 35-40 dollars at any shop in the city.

It looks like there are a variety of different ones on there. The top right one looks like the Tropical Grasslands. One says Bird.

I happen to agree with you on the pricing. My point was that I knew someone would come along and tell you that your opinion is wrong, as usually happens in these threads if you have anything less than positive to say.

I never said Dr. Bier was wrong I said his comparison isn't fair. Every brewery charges more for bombers, look it up there have been several threads about it over the years. That has nothing to do with saying stuff about Pizza Boy. I even used sculpin as a comparison. You just like to jump on and refute stuff I say to be a smart ass. Yet you still support Pizza Boy. If you have a problem with me personally we could discuss this at Al's in person over beers.

Passed on the Samurye today based on price. It may not be the worst priced bomber but I found it overpriced for an ipa. I will stick to the beers in 12 oz at a reasonable price.

On the lighter side, not being able to please everyone. I picked up the new Beer Advocate at Max's today and the updated Pizza Boy ad made me laugh out loud. Good stuff.

Will the monks release have the bottles to go, or just on tap?

Ah man, will be driving down I-81 on Friday and planning on stopping by Al's to check out some beers. Was hoping I'd be able to pick up some bottles (since I'm driving) but sounds like I'll be too soon.

I'd imagine that the bottle count at the release at your place will be more in count than you provided to Monks?

Either way I'll be there with bells on.

Yeah...pretty pricey. Glad I don't live close enough to buy them from the brewery...can't wait to see what the philly prices will be.

Haven't had much from Pizza Boy, but have heard good things. May have considered making a trip for some of these, but $30/bottle seems a bit ridiculous.
