Boulevard Love Child #2

And it apparently hit shelves in lincoln but none have made it to Omaha. So it seems strange that there have been sightings in Texas and Nebraska but not in KC.

 

According to Central States Beverage's Facebook page:

"We still anticipate Love Child hitting the market on the 19th. Who's Ready?"

 

Usually KC gets it 7-10 days before we (Lincoln) do. Did you try emailing the brewery? They would atleast be able to give you a number for the distributor. In my experience, the brewery has a pretty prompt response time, so it doesn't hurt to ask.

 

it is all over lincoln. i heard today that it got to lincoln before omaha because the drives to omaha are more full of kegs of stuff like the wheat so there wasnt enough space for the love child, but it will be coming soon

I hear it's still slated for the 19th. The reason that Nebraska, just one example, will get the beer out there before the KC market is purely due to the distributors. With it being so far away, they pick up a whole bunch of product and then go on their way. KC being KC, all they have to do is move it around the city and that's why Nebraska will have it sooner. They explained this on their website after people threw a bitch fit about Chocolate Ale. I live in Topeka now (an hour away) and almost always the beers are on shelves here a full week or 3-4 days before KC.

 

No sightings here in MN. I hope we get some

 

I don't know anything about this alleged "love child," but I like the sounds of it! I'll grab one from my Far East connection on the 19th

mothman, It's a Smokestack release, and as far as I can tell, MN gets all releases of the SS series. Just a matter of time. Still haven't seen 2012 Saison-Brett here in Rochester though. Still the 2011 sitting around.

 

We saw some hit our market today, along with the Saison/brett. Very small quantities on the Love Child #2 thus far.

Love Child #2 made it to central Iowa last week and it's delicious...it better be at $17 a bottle. Saison-Brett is suppose to arrive this week.

 

Where in Central Iowa? I'm really, really curious.

 

Don't know where dckepley got it but my father picked some up in Ames the other day (probably at one of the Hy-Vees but don't know for sure)
