Pretty positive we're getting more than just bcbs down in so cal. I'm trying to iron out details of getting at least one of my accounts in the IE variants. I had a bar pouring 13 barley wine last week

The beer shop I work at has 2 cases of BCBS and the barleywine version from last year locked up. So badly want to get them out to buy them.

Trying to get my yearly allotment in Connecticut. Called one of my regular stores and they assured me they are getting BCBS, coffee, barleywine and the variant edition. Hopefully they actually get it and sell it to me.

His comment was definitely a joke and referring to a GI advertisement a few weeks back which listed BCBCS as available in 24 packs but saying it is seemingly impossible to get a case is ludicrous. Got a casr last year in RI 2 weeks after the release.

I've heard from a few places that at the very least we're getting the regular and barleywine, not sure about the others. I sure hope so. Sounds like it will follow the Black Friday release.

So are all stores going to be getting BCS on black Friday to release, or will the Friday only be in selected cities?

$18-25 for 4-packs, $8-20 for bombers, depending on location. We had one store price bombers at $22 last year and they lasted several weeks. Everyone else sold out in 2-3 days, at most. 4 packs lasted for months, even at $18.

It might be nice to do a 60/40 blend. Bourbon might carry a bit more flavor though.

Just saw a comment on the GI Facebook page that Vanilla Rye would be Chicagoland only. Obviously, the press release at the top of this page says otherwise, and it wouldn't be the first bit of contradictory information (see above debate regarding 22 oz bottles vs. 12 oz four-packs for Vanilla Rye).

    Anyone have any additional info?

@LambicPentameter not sure if you follow craftbeerkc but NKC Bev released BCBS today. Three stores in the northland are selling it right now. Thought I'd let you know since I've seen you post that you're from KC.

I did see that. I was actually curious if there will be any issues coming out of that, since I've read stories about distributors/retailers putting future allocations of BCBS in jeopardy for releasing before Black Friday. I'd never seen it happen locally though.

Yeah, was surprised to see stores in MO breaking the rules.

So, 2014 BCBS is phenomenal. No surprise there. Being the beneficiary of a huge screw up is awesome!

I looked on the FB page and couldn't find this comment. Can you link it?

Also, can anyone else please shed some light on this? This type of misinformation needs to be cleared up, especially since historically the non-Prop variants were not Chicagoland only. I can't imagine them changing it up this year, but who knows? It seems
There's a lot of confusion around here about what areas are getting everything but Prop and which areas are only getting BCBS.
