Price point is my killer $18-$21. Had a chance in ABQ to get about 10 bottles without a fight.. Just couldn't do it.
The only value is when you are able to build a vertical set, and drink 3 years in the past in current time.

 

i wouldnt bet on that...Mirror Mirror is being sold at the Seattle Costco right now for $14/bottle...you won't see the Abyss there in 6 months

 

Oh and BB XXVI and FW DDBA are also at the Costco in Seattle for the same price

But you can receive it in the mail, I can't, at least not legally. A state regulation thang.

Actually if I wanted it badly enuf I could make the four or five hour drive to Pennsylvania. But I hear that whenever the Philadelphia stores there get the best Deschutes or Russian River, it disappears faster than a Quaker can say "conscientious objector."

 

Beership.com has the '12 for $49.99 haven't seen it anywhere else.

 

And, the infection wasn't in all bottles. IIRC, it was only certain bottling runs. Of all the 09s I bought locally, none were infected. I might have to see if I have any left, and maybe pop one at my upcoming bottle share.

 

Do you get Deschutes products where you live? If so, you get Abyss.

Not sure where you are located but I have a bunch of Narwhal with no limit here in Corona del Mar.

 

How quickly does this sell out? Still 3-4 weeks before I'll be in Portland, and I'd really like to try this one and maybe even snag a bottle to take home and share. Any chance at all of finding it at the brewery by then, or does this stuff fly in a day or two?
