I must disagree, I liked it the first week or two when it
Came out, the hop prescence was nice. But I busted one out 2 months ago & didn't care for the
sweetness or yeast prescence. More often than not, I think Belgian IPAs
Do not benefit from extended cellaring, unless a fine farmhouse yeast/brett is used. The aroma
hops that make differ them from run of the mill Belgians become muted.
This beer was different to begin with, but truly better when fresh.
    I ended up cooking
    With the rest

I think the new Wheat beer I just put out is pretty special.

It's a wheat saison, I just called it a wheat to keep it simple. Right now it's at Tapwerks and Druken Fry, and Smoke in Tulsa. It should be in 4 or 5 other locations in July.

Redbud wheat is a light ale that's big on flavor. This 4.2% session ale is brewed with a mix of German malts, American hops, and French yeast. It's treated like a Belgian ale, as the fermentation is very warm. This gives the beer a light, dry, spicy finish. The beer is then lightly dry hopped for 5 days with Summit hops. This gives the beer a tropical flavor and aroma.(think pineapple and mango) This is the kind of beer that seems to not stay in the glass very long.

See, I do think Belgian Pales can develop nicely, though Brett is certainly involved with Matilda and I suspect that it may be with the 2011 Wild Brew as well.

It's a sad day. Doing inventory on my cellar. I only have 2 Cuvée Fours left.

Also, anybody drank a TRois (batch2) lately? I popped open one of my four bottles left and it's infected. Very lactic tartness to it now. Total drain pour. I've heard other reports of the same.

Oh, boy. I'm only sitting on two of those TRois so I think I may have to crack one and see.

I didnt any infection, but I VASTLY preferred last year's.
I may be biased because I despise jack daniels.
To me lactic acid would be an improvement, it's much to sweet
From the barrel. Would you say its beer gone bad (but good)
    Or just a spoiled stout.
I also think I'm the only who like the offtaste of Arbor.

It has a fairly similar "offtaste" that arbor does.

Right on..I still probably won't get another one.
Is it true that all the distributors bought arbor back
From the stores since it was a 'bad' beer?

It dosen't really work like that. We took back all remaining inventory so no more could be sold. Still need to destroy all of it...

No, I quite like what developed from that one.

    That would make me sad.

I wouldn't say its worth destroying, there are
those who would still like it.I thought it was great for what it is man..it didn't
Taste like an imperial stout at all in terms of style
    but it tasted like
Rather drinkable ale of the dark variety.
Everyone came down on you for it, but I'm scratching
My head because it was not a terrible beer, just not a typical imperial stout.

Same w/ last years wildbrew, all this hate is new to me, it wasn't a bad beer, & from what
I remember only certain bottles were overcarbonated gushers; every fresh bottle i had
was flawless I'm terms of feel & carbonation. It may be a gusher now, but a great beer when It first arrived.

Had the Big Eddy Scotch ale recently it was fairly hot & not really that pleasant. I plan waiting a few months to try it again... (came in 4 packs)

I preferred the first batch of TR over the second as well, in taste. I love rye whiskey. The second though had a better body and mouthfeel.
