What I would really love to see them do is a strawberry chocolate abduction. IMHO, strawberry flavors would lend itself to a stout so much better than passion fruit, which I felt was a little to acidic for my liking. While it hasn't been aging long, I really hope it has mellowed a little bit for tomorrow.

I've been fortunate enough to have all of the Abductions in the series, and that one I simply could not finish. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the others.

    Distro starts 11/10
    Brown & Stirred
In collaboration with Longman & Eagle restaurant, we've brewed this Manhattan cocktail inspired strong ale. This beer has a very rye forward malt base and is brewed with cherries, lemon peel, and bitter roots. It's named after what the bartenders at L&E call a whiskey based you-call-it cocktail.
    $10.99, 22oz, 10.5% ABV

    NEW! Flavor Memory Response
Have you heard the epic legend of THE THREE DRAGONS OF THANKSGIVING? We've brewed three beers in honor of this ancient tale. Flavor Memory Response is the first release in this series. This wit beer was brewed with cranberries and spices. It's a light and tart sipper perfect to be paired with copious amounts of food.
    $8.99, 22 oz, 8% ABV

    Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn
Though last week the Unicorn sought revenge against the ninjas, the ninjas are back this week and ready to re-engage in battle! An epic battle! Brewed with 5 lbs of hops per barrel, this intensely hoppy DIPA is tasting as good as ever. Drink early, and drink often.
    $9.99, 22 oz, 9%

    On the Brewing Horizon:

NEW! Couple Two Tree - Dark ale brewed with spruce tips and fermented on hungarian oak
NEW! Blueberry Pie Scraper - A blueberry pie inspired ale brewed with blueberries

It had that thick purple wax on it. It was pretty incredible how well this held up. Hole time I was thinking I was probably just ruining this beer but that's why you throw em in the cellar. The finish was straight chocolate raspberries (I am usually not one the over hype beers but this one just clicked for me).

Awesome, Finally some NEW brews I can look forward to picking up....The Thanksgiving series is really intriguing. My plan is to consume all 3 on thanksgiving and then I hope to be able to still make it to the LP Black Friday event

Bobby called it a month back when I asked him what beers he expected to show up at Fobab. He said they'd be dumb not to bring jones dog cuz those barrels would definitely win a medal.

Well....it did! Congrats on the gold guys. That beer is fantastic. Wish I had another bottle. Also it was awesome to sell them in 12 ounces. Hopefully one day you can get back to that.

I'm shocked Murderous didn't also win at FOBAB. Maybe I am a fool for loving something so unbalanced and boozy, but I think it's perfect. I enjoy it quite a bit more than the three that won, placed or showed.
