Roll out the red carpet my friend...

While not a cranberry specific beer, they added cranberries, for an even bigger red fruit explosion. A truly wonderful beer that would make an excellent pairing for a Turkey meal. or hell just drink the dang thing.

If you can get a hand on one, it would be a great experience (yes I am a giant Flanders Ale fan so there's a bit of bias there)

    Why not?

Tis the season, no? Thanksgiving, cranberries, Lambics and sours.....what's not to like?

Plus, if you feel a UTI coming on, cranberry is da' bomb for that!

Thanks....yes, need to make the 3.5 hour drive down to Cincy and check out Mad Tree and other breweries down there that are not available to me up in NE Ohio....sure it would be worth the trip!

It's a great food pair for just about anything too, which is also why I love Rodenbach to death.

You can certainly buy it online, and once in awhile I have seen it on shelves as they did start finally sending bottles to the US of this limited produced beer.

Best of luck with whatever you choose!

Historic does an awesome job, I wish they canned/bottled so I could get it more without having to go to a bar.

Got a Firkin of Edmund Fitzgerald from Great Lakes with Cranberries added coming in. Looking forward to seeing how it comes out!

I thoroughly enjoy New Glarus Cran-bic and am sad that I am down to my last 3... Serendipity is great too.

Thought the cranberry in the Black Butte XXVI was a nice addition as well, which was previously stated.

As others have said, you gotta try and seek out some Cran-bic. Amazing beer all around.

I enjoyed the cranberry variant of Hardywood's Third Anniversary Ale(Berliner Weisse) Saddly, some of the others at the tasting where i broke it out felt it was too light which seemed like an odd complaint considering the style and that it was <4%

The Grateful Harvest is not too bad at all. I'm more of a pumpkin guy, but the lager in the brew definitely made its presence known.

Where is this place with the magical firkin coming in? Milwaukee doesn't see enough genuine casks, IMO!

In south Jersey we recently had the annual cranberry festival and i was really hoping to see a cranberry ipa. The bitterness of the cranberry seems like a perfect match for an ipa. If Pinelands brewing sees this post, you guys need to get on this

Upon reading this thread title I immediately thought of Pilgrim. Went through a few growlers of it last year and I was really hoping MadTree would be brewing it again this year...love that stuff!!!

As others have said, Cran-bic and Serendipity from New Glarus are fantastic beers too...loved them both!!!
