TBD has now changed to Costa Rican coffee varietal.

You know, perhaps like a medley.

That Eis Speedway is going to be insane 20% ABV. May as well just call it High Octane race fuel.

    TBD is Costa Rican Coffee.

Spun out, but recovered to finish under the caution flag.
FYI - Double Hammerhead for the win!

I was a big fan of Honey Graham and Mexican Chocolate.

    That stuff was amazing.

Lap 1 was a disappointment until the Double Hammerhead. Lap 3 might very well be the victor overall.

Thin mint disappointed on lap 1. Creme Brule and red velvet though... those were nice.

Pardon my ignorance but what is EIS Speedway?

Thanks, Rollz. So I should basically expect just a normal Speedway with a higher ABV% and everything that brings?

Coconut Vanilla was the clear winner last night. Possibly the best set of variants they've ever done when considered in aggregate, and it was nice to not have any palate-searing pepper beers. No real duds, even the ones that I thought weren't particularly interesting (tequila and red velvet cake) were solid, they just couldn't stand up to the better variants.

It will be great to have this event in a bigger space in the future, kudos to the staff for doing the best they can to fit so many people into a small area, but more table/counter space will be a welcome addition.

It seems most of the favorites landed on Lap 3 with maybe the other laps offering 1 or 2 decent variants.

The creme brulee was nice but I think I rate it higher than I should only because I had it after the thin mint which...just bombed. They had a little scorecard and I couldn't find a number on it lower than 1 to circle, so I had to add a little frowny face.

Coconut+vanilla was great and strangely enough the coffee variant in lap 3 was probably my least favorite but still exceeded the other laps' variants by a large margin. Back tonight and friday for a few more.

Never had an eis imperial stout, but I would expect what you described.

Now that the dust settled, I was happy to get what I got. I was in line on Monday around 11:05. Maybe 30th in line? I got some Viet, and some '13 BA Speedway. Wanted a Kopi, but oh well.

Drank the BA Viet (Amazing), '13 BA Speedway (Still super Boozy), and regular speedway (yum). Well run, lots of fun!

Closed Alesmith yet again this evening, only had their 2nd lap but plenty of other tasters of the other laps, also another pint of their BA nut brown off nitro.

After closing, went up to EAH to try and close them out (succeeded), great times.

Now I just need to think where I will close out tomorrow after I (hopefully) close out Alesmith again.

Was there last night as well. Double Hammerhead blew me away. The espresso grounds flavor on the finish was just insane and yet was somehow not overpowering. It was my first grand prix and I'll definitely be back, had a blast getting to try all the variants. Cheers guys!
