So my friends are getting married next fall in Norcal and they have put me in charge of getting the beer. I'd like to get a couple kegs instead of bottles for obvious convince purposes. I'd like to get a seasonal brew if possible and one other keg. Does anyone know if you can get late fall releases in a keg from any of the Norcal breweries. I'm open to suggestions for both season and non-seasonal brews. Thanks for the help.

Check that your venue allows for you to supply your own beer. Check with liquorsstores and bottle shops too.

Also finding the beers is both a blessing and a curse since the trick is to please everyone. That will never ever happen, so do what you can to please as many as possible but most importantly that your friends enjoy your selections.

Had quite a few beer drinkers at my wedding with a keg of stone IPA and a macro. Guess which one kicked first. At least my friends were able to take a couple pitchers of the stone back to their hotel rooms for the post party.

Getting married next Saturday got a keg of Bud Light and a keg of Alpine Hoppy Birthday, my few craft beer friends said they are bringing growlers in case the Alpine keg does not kick.

Availability will depend on the brewery's output and total sales. You might find some pumpkin stuff still around if it wasn't a strong seller. I know here in Atlanta a few distributors still have some seasonal stuff, but it's scarce. You might also luck out and find something on discount, as new seasonals come in they like to push the older stuff out.

Just seconding? thirding? what everyone else is saying. Most people will look toward drinking your macro brews.

Definitely this. I bought a 6L of Allagash Curieux to present to my friends at their wedding only to find out we couldn't open alcohol from off site. That was a bummer.
