I think the only apple brandy barrel beer I've had was Grande Negro Voodoo Papi. It was awesome. I'd love to try it again.

That beer is awesome - I polished off 64 oz of it last weekend and did not regret it. I still have one more growler to crack open, but just got my teeth whitened so no stouts for me for a few days. Really limits my drinking.

Correct sir... the best way to go about acquiring these great beers is just to make friends around the country who are willing to super generous and willing to trade fairly... it's really kind of whats happening on a daily basis in this thread!

That's how I've 'stumbled' into my whale bottles as well. The beer karma is 100% real.

And Black Eye is on point! There's still more around on shelves??

Here are my LIF spoils from @Lehighace06 :
DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus - I had some ups and downs with peanut butter brews. Very much looking to that one though.
Pizza Boy Sunny Side Up (at least, I believe it is considering Kevin's hint of me owning #properglassware) - my new favorite coffee stout.
    Allagash White - always delicious.

Thanks again for the package. It is very much appreciated and already enjoyed.

So, I suck. :flushed: I just found the glass (I thought the padded envelopes were extra cushioning.). It looks awesome. Thank you even more
I knew you went to Forest & Main but thought you might have switched the brew for SSU since I mentioned how much I loved it.
Well, I find they share quite a few characteristics maybe the coffee notes are a little bitter in Gmork, which is fine by me.
    I will #properglassware tomorrow.

Sorry, SSU is from Pizza Boy, 2 hours away from me... I do agree though, great coffee flavors in both. F&M is doing a Rum Barrel Gmork soon that I can't wait for. Truthfully while I love both, I have to give the nod to SSU; then again that might just be because I had a single pour while there and am still regretting not bringing any home with me.

I'm glad you like the glass, I really dig the design on it (as I do most of their glassware) and seriously considered getting myself one, but I'm in trouble enough as it is for the size of my glassware collection (and that we have nowhere to put it) ...seriously! I have to make sure I leave at least 2 glasses dirty and waiting to be cleaned at all times just so she doesn't realize the cabinets are full with 2 more homeless glasses, if she realized that she'd make me pack some away in a box!

Also, I'm waiting for glassware ****!

You guys shouldn't wait for me every night. Please drink amongst yourselves.

Oh and I have due on Monday an 8 store outlet profitability study for 8 new stores, they would like both a macro and micro approach to opening the stores.

Apparently it says "Extensive experience in opening new stores including macro & micro store planning, profitability scenarios as well as square foot analysis and 4 wall walk throughs" on my resume. Uh-oh.

No worries. It is just that when you said that I owned the glass for the beer, I immediately thought of SSU since it was the only PA beer glass I owned. Gmork is delicious but, I would agree, SSU is above it.

I am starting to get a bit of glassware but, so far, it has not been an issue at home.

Anyway, you demanded glassware pr0n, you shall receive some!

Holy crap! It is real! I must get my hands on one of these (and a Brimstone one while we are at it.) How does it taste?

My exact words were "you got"... obviously there's a dual meaning there, but I meant that to mean "you received" not "you own"

In any case, glad you enjoyed the beer, and I hope you enjoy the others as well... I can never send just one beer, it seems like a waste of shipping funds.

It's literally like a spiced bomb. No peppers on the back end. Just tons of spices. It's very solid. But it's no bomb. This should be much easier to find than Brimstone.

I didn't realize Mistletoe was getting around to other parts of the country. The brewery is in the next town over from me and the brewer came out of my homebrew club. Glad to see Howard getting around! Most of his stuff is solid though not earth shattering.

I got my hands on a pour of Moo-HooChiato this afternoon, and just polished another of the beers from @Kramerbarthomer, the Hop Abomination from Dry Dock... it's no Apricot Blonde (that one was damn tasty) but they seem to know their hops too!

    Love this beer.

I will be going on the hunt tomorrow for Brimstone. There's way less of this than I expected, only 60 cases for Houston.
