Took me long enough to catch up (finally). Life getting in the way (well, life and @Roger85's challenge video), but I think I got the gist of what's gone on:
    • remembering lost parents
    • perspective on beer
    • some new active participants - including a few mods (welcome)
    • @Lehighace06 'bout to have #3 (congrats)
    • @jdhowe getting engaged (congrats)
    • FedEx still sux ballz
And something about a war. Seriously - w.t.f. is going on? Thanks to the aforementioned FedEx, I think I might be victimized in the next few days.

    Oh...and....

Congrats. And you're welcome. Modesty aside, I know how much I had a part in this.

Does that pretty much sum it up?

I really, really, really like beer. A lot.

    And I had some beer.

So to be perfectly honest, if I drove the nearly 7 hours to the tasting and showed up to fools waving these snot rags I would take my beer, get in my car and drive my ass home no questions asked. You might not even know I was there if I saw it from the street. I would just keep on going. Seriously.

The one thing that is funny is all the Squeeler fans are being realllllyyyyy nice right now that the Browns dominated them 6 out of 8 quarters and are in first place. I mean it is almost rude. I guess when you act like a pompous D for 20 years you don't want the retribution. I am biding my time. I see a very rough decade once Big Betty is done playing and the Squeelers scramble to find a replacement. All I know is that feeling they had after the Jets...yeah, the Jets, trampled them. Well they better get use to that feeling because they are going to be that way for a while!

Ok back to Beer stuff. Just think only 7 more weeks and I will be done talking about the Browns...or maybe I will get another week or two to talk about them...on man, I already told my boss I am not working if they make it to the...better not say, don't need to get ahead of myself. We beat the stinkin Squeelers this year which made the season for me. Anything else is just gravy....mmmm gravy....thanksgiving turkey...mmmmm

I work with one steelers fan and he is pretty chill about it. I wish I could be chill but my memories of the Browns start with plays that were named and etched into NFL history like The Drive, The Fumble and The Decision...oh wait that was a different sport. Browns fans are jaded man. Look at us now. We are winning, WINNING, and this city is still arguing that Manziel should play this year so we know if he is any good to lead this team for the next 10 years. I mean we are on the cusp of a playoff shot and winning the division and people call the radio and the radio hosts agree in some cases that they need to play Manziel to see what they have with him and bench, BENCH, the guy that has done nothing but win, lead the biggest come back road win in NFL history and has the team believing in him and playing their hearts out! We suck as fans. I mean if I was a Steelers fan and I lived here I would hate it. Any time the Browns win we look for someone to be a D too because we feel so abused. It is more embarrassing than our record since 1999. I need to stop playing into it and act like, well, a winner. I think once we start seeing consistent winning and not just a flash in the pan like we did with Derek Anderson and Braylon Edwards for one season ( went 10-7 and missed the playoffs) or that time our back up QB took us to the wild card only to lose for a 3RD time to the Steelers that year....well maybe we will be different and it will be fun again. There are still so many people in Cleveland that won't watch the NFL because of the Browns move. Its rough, i mean not like as rough as real life but in the guys fantasy world where NFL football is the most important thing it is rough.

I like you Mip, and I am not just saying that because we beat you for the first time in 8 years, it is because you are one of us! A SWTFYWer!.

So I got grilled by an anonymous FIB last night via text messages. Apparently someone has my cell number from a past trade or LIF. It was pretty fun texting them back...........but I am happy to say the treats of violence, choke holds, slaps to the face and mysterious cab rides to nowhere didn't work. I gave no information other than my name, rank, and serial #.

    I still like beer.

I warned them about reverse lookup. I don't think they thought about that

Good to know! I actually just found the '11 in the back of the closet the other day. One of those "accidental cellars". I kinda like it when that happens.
Unfortunately, I have 2 main sharing partners. 1 is a bartender and works weekend nights, the other owns a shop in town and lives 30 minutes away, so I'm either sharing with him after the shop closes during the week or he's drinking 30 mintues away.

I need to start training more friends.
